Nature & culture
North Eifel
The North Eifel region will enchant you with its romantic towns, including Monschau, Bad Münstereifel, Zülpich, Schleiden (with the Kneipp health resort Gemünd), and countless outdoor experiences.
Eifel National Park
Covering an area of about 110 square kilometres, “Let nature be nature” is the motto. Want more info? Right this way!
Kommern Open Air Museum LVR
The open-air museum focuses on the life and work of people in earlier times. Farmer, blacksmith, and mouse-trap pedlar accompany you through past centuries – look forward to theatrical performances and interesting insights into the past.
Vogelsang Castle
The 100-hectare estate of the former Nazi Ordensburg Vogelsang is located in the middle of the Eifel National Park.
Today, this historic site is known as a place of remembrance that stands for tolerance, diversity, and peaceful coexistence.
Hellenthal wildlife reserve
Red deer, fallow deer, sika deer, roe deer, and mouflon can be found here as well as tarpans and wild boars. Various predator species, such as raccoon dogs, stone martens, and lynx, also live on the Hellenthal wildlife reserve. Our tip: Don’t miss the bird of prey show!
Monschau
With its historic old town, impressive hedges, and Vennhöfe houses, the climatic health resort of Monschau has so much to offer. Strolling through the winding alleys of the old town and behind the romantic half-timbered façades, a diverse range of art and culture awaits you.
Bad Münstereifel
A romantic little town with picturesque half-timbered houses, a lively pedestrian zone, and many cosy cafés along the Erft river. Our tip: Visit the castle complex that towers above the town and enjoy the magnificent view.
Heimbach
The small, historic village of Heimbach is nestled in the Rurtal valley and is overlooked by the medieval castle of Hengebach. Popular excursion destinations are Mariawald Abbey and the Rursee lake, with boat trips and water sports.
Blankenheim
In the heart of the Eifel region lies the picturesque castle town of Blankenheim. The main attraction of the state-recognised health resort is the Ahr spring in a vaulted cellar of a half-timbered house dating back to 1726.

In the middle of the national park, surrounded by nature, a “blue adventure land” awaits you: cycling tours, hikes, sailing trips, boat trips, canoe adventures, stand-up paddling action, beach clubs, bathing beaches… the list goes on. There is no doubt that there is something for you here!
Badewelt Euskirchen
Vitality spa, sauna world, palm paradise, sports pool – combine spa and action at a place of well-being that is all about water. Treat yourself to some time out under palm trees and leave the stress of everyday life behind!
Eifel Therme Zikkurat
The Eifel Therme Zikkurat offers you a wide range of experiences and relaxation across an area of approx. 13,000m². The indoor and outdoor sauna area alone is 2,000m² in size, where six different saunas invite you to relax, in addition to a steam bath, several nap and relaxation rooms, two massage rooms, two dining areas and a large swimming pond.
Eifelbad
In Bad Münstereifel, a wide range of activities for the whole family awaits you – and at low prices. Look forward to pleasant water temperatures and nearly 700m² of water surface.

A special kind of bathing bliss: Pure aquatic fun for the whole family awaits you here on more than 1,000m². You can swim in the wave pool under the impressive glass dome as if you were outside. Do you love relaxation? You will be in good hands in the non-nude wellness area or sauna area.
Rosenbad
Bathing fun for everyone is just a five-minute drive from the Gemünd Ferienpark: In the large heated pool with a three-metre and one-metre diving board and on the slide, young and old alike will be sure to have a good time. Only open in summer.
Schwimmbad Vogelsang
A sports pool for water lovers: The Schwimmbad Vogelsang is located high above the Urftsee lake.
Pure family fun
Phantasialand
You and your whole family will be all smiles here: exciting adventures, fun, action, and the best entertainment await you. Phantasialand is open daily from 9 a.m. in the summer season from 1 April to 2 November.
Eifelpark
Enjoy a carefree day with the family in nature, learn about animals and plants through play, and have lots of fun on the rides – this and much more awaits you at the Eifelpark in Gondorf.
Aktivi
Have fun no matter the weather: in the Aktivi-Kinder-Adventureland, children of all ages can romp around to their heart’s content!

Rain or shine, the Bubenheim invites you to play! Experience all kinds of fun on the large adventure playground and in the three indoor play areas.
BOWL-Fabrik
The unique ambience of the former stoneware factory from 1882 is home to the BOWL-Fabrik, the Eifel region’s newest bowling and entertainment centre.
