Loop walk from the Ferienpark
This is a short walk starting directly from your holiday home. Our tip: Start very early and enjoy the wonderful morning air or take a walk in the evening at sunset – it’s simply wonderful. Perhaps we will even run into each other on our favourite walk!
Bike to breakfast
A beautiful, short bike ride from the Ferienpark to Café Chalet. After a nice breakfast, you can decide whether you ride back to the Ferienpark or take a short detour to Vogelsang and then return to your temporary home after a leisurely ride back along the Urft river.
Café Wohnzimmer
Stroll through the picturesque town of Euskirchen (approx. 30 minutes from the Ferienpark by car) and stop by the Café Wohnzimmer. You will immediately feel at home in this small, charming coffee house – and not only because of the family-like atmosphere. Only open weekends.
Café Kupp
Our guests love this place because, at Café Kupp, you can feel just how much attention has been paid to the details. Everything is homemade, with creative delicacies and friendly owners who stand behind their products with passion – this place simply has it all. It is approx. 9km from the Ferienpark and you can reach it on foot, by bike or car. It’s up to you!
Krewelshof farm
Enjoy all the delicacies of the Eifel region – 365 days a year. Fresh from the field still tastes best: Here you can taste the best from the region already at breakfast. In Mechernich, about 20 minutes from Gemünd by car, the farm awaits you. Our tip: Taste the freshly baked treats from the farm bakery!
Mine shaft "Wohlfahrt"
More than 2,000 years ago, ore was mined, metal extracted and processed in the old mining region of the Eifel. Mining history was written here: the roots of the German coal and steel industry can also be found in the Eifel. At the Wohlfahrt mine you will take part in a fascinating underground tour, whatever the weather!
